Elke Korn is Managing Partner at Career Openers Executive Search, a firm specializing in executive search assignment for C-level executives for mid-market organizations and C-level ‘minus one’ roles for corporates. Elke brings over 20 years of experience in executive search and leadership development.
Before Career Openers Elke spent 15 years at Egon Zehnder, where she held various leadership roles, including Engagement Leader, Member of the Global Research Leadership Team. She led the Amsterdam Research Team as Head of Research and developed and managed global training programs for many years.
Elke is driven by the belief that a sustainable and meaningful connection between a candidate and a company always starts with resolute sincerity and essential dept, both towards the client and the candidate. By looking beyond the surface and focusing on personality and the authentic aspirations of candidates, Elke contributes to leadership that strengthens organizations in a lasting way.

Elke primarily focuses on CFO roles and members of the Supervisory Board in mid-market organizations. Elke’s expertise also includes providing second opinions on in-house candidates.
Outside of work, Elke enjoys spending time with her family. She swims 3-4 km per week (slow pace) and keeps a family farm in the South of the Netherlands where gardening, cooking, heating the fireplace and relaxing are the activities she enjoys thoroughly
