PRAXI Alliance Explores the Future of International Leadership Hiring at its Amsterdam Spring Summit

Members of PRAXI Alliance gathered in Amsterdam for the 2026 Spring Summit to explore the forces reshaping executive search and leadership advisory, and to strengthen international collaboration in response to the increasingly global challenges facing organizations.

Bringing together member firms from Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North America, the two-day summit focused on the evolving leadership needs of organizations navigating international growth, private equity investment, digital transformation, and the growing impact of artificial intelligence.

A keynote session featuring Gert Jan van der Hoeven, Partner at H2 Equity Partners, explored the role of leadership in creating value within private equity-backed businesses. The discussion highlighted the growing importance of executive teams in driving business performance and reinforced the opportunity for executive search firms to act as strategic partners throughout the investment lifecycle.

Technology was another central theme. Members shared perspectives on how artificial intelligence is becoming embedded in executive search workflows, supporting activities such as research, reporting, and business development while reinforcing—rather than replacing—the expertise, judgment, and relationships that remain at the heart of the profession.

The summit also examined the increasing internationalisation of leadership hiring. As organizations expand across borders, demand continues to grow for executives capable of leading regional operations, supporting market entry, integrating acquisitions, and driving transformation across multiple markets. Interactive workshops explored practical ways to strengthen collaboration between member firms and deliver even greater value to clients through coordinated cross-border search assignments.

The event also welcomed new members and representatives from the United Kingdom, France, India, and the United Arab Emirates, further strengthening the Alliance’s international capabilities and expanding opportunities for collaboration across key markets.

The summit concluded with a shared commitment to strengthening international collaboration and expanding cross-border opportunities across the Alliance. Bringing together deep local market expertise with global reach, PRAXI Alliance continues to help organizations identify and secure the leadership talent needed to succeed in an increasingly interconnected business environment.
