Laurent graduated from Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS). He started his career at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Doha, Manila, Bangkok).

In 2004, Laurent launched the Executive Search Division of Adecco Thailand, where he then held the position of National Sales Director. After a short experience at Manpower Group, in 2008 Laurent founded ThaiEcotrade, a company specialized in the recycling of electronic waste and data protection.

He is currently a Strategic Advisor at Thai Ecotrade. Laurent has been a French Foreign Trade Adviser (CCE) since 2006.
